Cristina and Jero are one of the sweetest couples you'll ever meet. They got married on a beautiful summer day at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by an amazing reception in the Valley Hall Banquet Room at the Valley Ridge Golf Course.
The crazy hour (Venezuelan custom of la hora loca) was definitely one of the highlights of their reception. The ornate masks, the colorful hats and other wedding favors they distributed among the guests surely added a lot of vibrancy to the already lively atmosphere. Here are some of my personal favorites from their wedding day.
Enjoy!
Cristina is an accomplished painter. I had to incorporate one of her beautiful paintings into the shot above.
The send off is always a touching moment.
Who say's you can't have fun with the puddles?
The Valley Ridge Golf Course has a pretty garden with a lot of color!
Check those shoes out!
Let the crazy hour begin!!
It has been a while since I got the time to do a studio sample album. I finally sat down and designed an album layout in the storytelling style from some of the recent weddings I've captured and I cannot wait to see this printed in a gorgeous Graphistudio album from Italy so that I can really feel these images.
Can't believe it's December already!
2015 has been another fabulous year that enabled us to capture some unforgettable memories with some lovely people. It is always a great privilege to be a part of their very special day of their lives as they begin a new journey. We had an incredible time documenting weddings from various cultural backgrounds at some of the most beautiful locations in Alberta and British Columbia.
While it's so hard to summarize all those memories into one place, here's a short collection of some of the highlights of this year (including some non-wedding shoots).
